The Top Party Cities in North America

Berlin? London? Tokyo?

Ha! North America has better, more bopping party cities than any in the world. Who needs a plane ticket across the ocean, when the parties are all happening right here?

NEW YORK, New York is the Big Apple. Fortunately, it is not distinguished for its nutrition, but rather as the city with the most bars and clubs in the United States. There are always plenty of parties going on.

SAN FRANCISCO, California, is the city where flower power began half a century ago - and they are still partying, both hipster style and in electronic dance bars from Sausolito to San Jose. Among the top places to party include the Mission and SOMA Districts, as well as North Beach

CALGARY, Alberta, is known as Cowtown because of the famous Calgary Stampede, a 10-day rodeo that draws millions of people to the city. Even if country music culture is not your style, the after-rodeo parties are epic. These days, the Stampede is as much about the parties as it is about the rodeo.

CHICAGO, Illinois is not only known for its deep-dish pizza and molecular gastronomy, but it is also known for its parties. Let's face it, pizza and parties go hand in hand. Does molecular gastronomy go hand in hand with partying? Not sure. But whether you will be packing the clubs until five AM, or spending the whole summer at outdoor festivals, you will definitely have a party-good time in the Windy City.

TORONTO, Ontario, is known as "The Big Smoke" for its pollution and "Toronto the Good" for its lawfulness. But those are not the reasons why Toronto is the largest city in Canada - it is because so many people have gathered to party together.

LOS ANGELES, California, is home to the silver screen - and every barkeep, waitress and bellhop is a hopeful actor or actress. This is the ideal place to party for future bragging rights. Party in Los Angeles enough and one day you'll be telling everybody, "I know that superstar. She served me a beer when she was younger."

MIAMI, Florida is home to all sorts of party goers, from the Fort Lauderdale yacht club jet-setters, to the get-down-and-dirty dancers in the Latin dance clubs. Then, find a party on the beach. If you like sun, and you like fun, you will love Miami.

ATLANTA, Georgia is known as the Capital of The South. Although tourists often come here to enjoy the Atlanta Zoo and the Georgia Aquarium, you can tell the true party animals come alive at night in the downtown Atlanta's nightlife.

MONTREAL, Quebec, has a world-famous bilingual nightlife, where the legal drinking age is 18. People come from around the world to join the locals for the drinks at the many bars and night clubs, but they certainly stay for the beautiful French women... er, I mean culture.

BOSTON, Massachusetts is the Athens of America. Each September (Let the party begin!), it is flooded with a fresh crop of students from around the world, drawn to Boston's prestigious colleges. With them comes a rush of cultural enthusiasm, which has spawned everything from music festivals to hip clubs and Irish pubs.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics - that was one big party. From what we hear, they have not stopped partying since. Vancouver parties are laid back, so relax and party.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, is a party capital. Any place called Sin City doesn't go light on its parties - but it does cost a bit to party in Las Vegas. Just remember the saying, if you go a little overboard in your partying, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas".

Party Supplies For Your Halloween Party

Call eight to ten of your ghastliest boy and ghoul-friends for this year's Halloween get-together and it's sure to be a scream! Party supplies are likely to include elaborate decorations, partyware, favors, themed food and party supplies costumes. You can have just as much fun planning the celebration as you'll have at the event, if you start a month in advance.

The first task -- that can be rather daunting -- is knowing where to look for costumes and party supplies. Party City is a great wholesale party supply store that will have costumes from $15 - $60 for adults.

However, you'll want to shop as early as possible to avoid barren shelves and poor selection. Buycostumes has unique costumes for reasonable prices. If you want a really horrific mask and are willing to spend a little more, Thehorrordome is your site. You can find hundreds of costumes at Orientaltrading, including plus sizes and couples options!

For decoration party supplies, check Frightcatalog, Orientaltradingpost, Partycity and Thehorrordome for some fantastic options. Wall-coverings, tablecloths and a few cut-outs can quickly transform your house into the scariest place on the block. Animatronics add additional scares, while cobwebs and balloons are cheap, creepy additions.

As far as partyware celebration supplies go, Orientaltrading offers 25 plates in themed colors for just $2.95, skeleton hand champagne glasses (12 for $18), decorated table cloths ($3), a skull punch-bowl set for $24, and monster hand Jello molds.

A traditional and cheap main entree is goulash made of just noodles, sauce, peppers, onions and ground beef. (You can serve a small army for $10). Other options include: Pumpkin soup or pie, deviled potato salad, herb-marinated olives, nutty phyllo ghosts, candy apples and more (at Foodnetwork.com).

A larger list of Halloween recipe sites can be found at: Darklinks.com/dhauntfood.html, which includes vegetarian and cocktail options.

For music party supplies, you can purchase a Halloween compilation or download the typical "Monster Mash" or Ghostbuster theme tunes. For more upbeat atmosphere, try a "horrorbilly" or "psychobilly" band or two.

The Matadors, The Creepshow or The Horrorpops give you Halloween-themed music with an old rock n roll twist that's sure to get your celebration dancing. Or purchase an inclusive murder mystery kit with food, music and entertainment directions.

Lastly, it could be fun to give your friends some favors to take home with them as a memento. Orientaltrading has an especially good selection of celebration supplies and favors by the dozen -- like 12 light-up skeleton shot-glasses for $10.

You shouldn't see cobwebs when you open your wallet after buying party supplies, as long as you've made a budget and stuck to it. Decide which area you'll want to spend in and recruit some friends to help out. Remember, decor is key for a creepy Halloween bash that your friends will always remember!a

US Bachelor Party City Ideas

Before a bachelor becomes permanently hitched, it is essential to have a bachelor party. Sometimes this only spans a single evening, usually the one before the wedding night but why not go for a bachelor party weekend and have a little more time with your close friends. You want to go for something that will leave an indelible memory that will last forever with those who attend. It is always important to plan your trip well in advance and this one is no different. You need to come up with a plan that considers both entertainment and cost.

I have a list of three possible places to have your party. I've been to all three of these cities for the occasion and was pleasantly surprised. These three aren't really what you might expect for a bachelor party but they are great cities that could give you a trip to remember.

To start off I have listed Austin, Texas. It is perfect for those that live closer to the West or the South of the country. The most popular is Las Vegas but Austin is a great substitute if you don't have a huge budget to spend. Austin, Texas is such a great city. There is plenty to do in the daytime and a great nightlife too. You certainly wouldn't be disappointed with a trip to Austin.

My second choice is Montreal. This city has a subtle feel of Paris about it and if you haven't been before then you will definitely love it. Nobody dislikes Montreal, it's just a great place to visit and could provide the difference your looking for with your bachelor party.

Last but not least is Nashville, the capital of country music. This place is definitely worth visiting with all of its splendid places to eat out and its entertaining nightlife. This is definitely the place to go if you want something unique.

Any of the cities suggested will provide you with a great experience. I'm sure that your bachelor party would turn out unique and memorable at any one of them.

Hollywood-Themed Sweet 16 Puts a Unique Spin on Classic Party

To many youngsters, turning 16 is a huge accomplishment. The age marks one of the first milestones in a young adult's life. They are given more responsibility and taking the next step toward becoming independent. Along with the added perks, one of the most traditional aspects of this birthday is celebrating with one's closets family and friends. Why not put a unique spin on this tradition with a glamorous Hollywood-themed sweet 16? The birthday boy or girl will certainly love it!

For starters, you'll want to select fantastic invitations. One direction you could take is to frame the party as an exclusive movie premiere. This can easily be done with announcements - just make sure to include plenty of flashy imagery on them. Shimmering stars outlining the borders will look great.Another direction you can take is to purchase invitations that resemble movie tickets, which will be a clever variation on classic announcements.

Hollywood is famous for its decadence and elegant celebrities,so you will have to ensure that your birthday bash appropriately reflects the atmosphere of Tinseltown. A good place to begin would be to hang up a Hollywood skyline scene setter. Securing a view of the famous city at night as a backdrop to your shindig is a terrific starting point. Next, you should think about including plenty of gold and black decorations throughout your home, as the two colors are frequently associated with moviemaking. (one word) They can be incorporated in a number of different ways, but an effective choice would be to string gold and black star garland around the area of the get-together. The color scheme can be bolstered by inflating some balloons of the same shade. Having a handful of these birthday party staples floating around will likely leave your guests delighted. For a final touch, you can mimic the look and feel of a movie premiere by laying a red floor runner at the foot of your home's entrance. Partygoers will feel like they are arriving at an exclusive event and the small detail will add a touch of classy grace to the event.

The next step is to guarantee that you have the right supplies. As is the case with most parties, you should stock up on paper plates, napkins and cups. Try to select paper goods that are decorated with the iconic image of the Hollywood sign and watch your guests go crazy for them.

Of course, there are other supplies you'll need in addition to paper goods. Many actors are famous for their elaborate wardrobe and fashion accessories, so why not provide your guests with similarly outrageous props? Partygoers will love donning some oversized, funky sunglasses or showing off a green feather boa.

You only turn 16 once, so you should try your best to make it unforgettable for the guest of honor. The memories of a sweet 16 can last for years to come, and an especially elegant affair will be sure to put a smile on their face.

Planning a 50th Birthday Party

Invitations: These provide guests with the first hint as to the theme of your party. Will you be serious and elegant or have more of a playful, teasing theme? Finestationery.com has a number of sophisticated designs in many colors. Black cards with silver writing are particularly popular, and provide beautiful colors for the party decorations. Fun "Over the Hill" invitations are also available at vistaprint.com as are photo invitations for a truly unique option.

Decorations: For the simpler party, consider silver and gold balloons with silver and black streamers. You can place Happy 50th Birthday party signs at the door, or in the yard if guests need to park at the party. You can also place gold 50 centerpiece spray in the middle of each table, available at amazon.com/Century-Novelty-50-Centerpiece-Spray. For the playful party, consider ordering inflatable canes and walkers, as well as Senior Moment caution signs or cones. All of the items are available at Party City, whether you choose to search the store or look online.

Food: Whether you are serving a meal or just light refreshments, include some of the celebrant's favorites. Desserts are always a show stopper - a decorated sheet cake, or several decorated layer cakes, will look beautiful. Cupcakes are also very popular. Make them special with either personalized cupcake toppers putting photos on the frosting. Order edible images from icingimages.com.

Favors: There are many unique favors you can order to help guests remember your special celebration. Edible favors include birthday oreos, decorated especially for you, or birthday fortune favors, which are dipped in chocolate. Other fun ideas include personalized playing cards, complete with the date and celebrant's name on the box, or grippy socks in colors that match your decorations. These two choices can be used by guests repeatedly.

Top 10 Ideas For Spiderman Party Supplies, Games and Decorations

1. Invite your guests to your Spiderman birthday party with colorful theme invitations. Or create your own using bright red (or black) construction paper or cardstock. Fold the paper in half, write, "Swing on over to ______'s (your child's name) birthday party!" and then attach cobwebs and fake spiders to the outside. Include all the party details on the inside.

2. Greet your guests at the door with a 5' Scene Setter. Place an Amazing Birthday Banner in your entryway. Around your party room, place eye-catching 5' Super Hero add-ons as well as City Scapes to create the perfect setting.

3. Hang Spiderman 12" balloons and danglers from the ceiling. Add red and black balloons and use similar colors of crepe paper to create "webs" around the room. Or buy cobwebs and plastic spiders to hang in the four corners of the room.

4. Use a bright red tablecover for your party table and be sure to have themed plates, cups, bowls and napkins ready! Use a colorful character candle for the birthday cake and a character (or spider) Pinata as a centerpiece.

5. Dress your child in a Spiderman costume for his or her birthday party! Costumes are available in various sizes and come in black and red (including glow, fiberoptic and comic costumes). If your child doesn't want to wear the full costume, he or she may opt for Gloves and/or Boot Tops.

6. As your guests arrive, you can hand each one a Blowout, a Paper Mask or a Spider Ring.

7. "Spiderman, Spiderman, We Need Help!" (Number of Players: 5 or more) One person is chosen to be "It" (he or she can even put on the costume, gloves, or boot tops) and he/she goes out of the room. The rest of the group then holds hands in a circle (standing up). After that, they can step over, go under, and twist each other's arms--anything they can think of to created a web for the person who is "It" to figure out. The only rule is that they can't let go of each other's hands.

When they're done getting twisted up, the group yells, "Spiderman! Spiderman! We Need Help!" Then the person who is "It" comes out and tries to untangle the group by telling them what to do, such as where to step, which way to twist, etc. Once again, the participants cannot let go each other's hands. If he/she can get them untangled, he wins. But if he can't get them untangled, then the group wins. Different people can take turns being "It" for other rounds.

8. "Black Magic" (Number of Players: 3 or more) This is a game where there's a secret. Two people have to be in on the secret for the game to work. One of the two people goes out of the room, and one stays in. The person in the room helps the group decide on an object. Then the other person comes back into the room and tries to guess what object was chosen.

The person who remained in the room, let's call her "Jo", points to different things around the room, and says, "Is this it?" Then the "seeker", let's call her Sally, either says "yes" or "no". The object can be anything, even a zipper or something discreet like that. The object of the game is for the other members of the group to figure out how Sally is guessing it, so don't tell the secret to the group.

The secret is: Sally knows what the chosen object is because Jo points to a BLACK object before she points to the chosen object, thus the name, "Black Magic".

9. Pinata time! Use your Spiderman (or spider) pinata centerpiece--having previously filled it with Spider Rings, Punch Balls, character Tattoos, character Stickers, Mini Dots and an assortment of red and black (or your child's favorite) candies. Use a Pinata Bat and Blindfold and let each child have three hits until the pinata breaks. Be sure to have loot bags on hand!

10. After your party ends, use Spiderman Thank You notes to send or deliver to your guests. You may want to include an additionalparty favor (such as stickers or mini dots) in each one.

Third Party Food Delivery Services in the City

If you work and live in a big U.S. city, your time is likely very precious. You are constantly on the go - you have a demanding job and a frustrating commute. You barely have time to eat. Your cooking skills are limited, and you barely have time to cook even if you could. Picking up food from your favorite restaurant is often times a pain. Additionally, you can easily get sick of having the same few places deliver food to you over and over again.

This is where third party food delivery services come in to play. These food delivery services can save you a ton of time and allow you to eat food from your favorite restaurant any day of the week in the comfort of your own home. Third party food delivery services are business that essentially pick up food from local restaurants and then bring the food to you. With these services, you can get food from your favorite restaurant any time you want - even if the restaurant does not normally deliver. By using these services, you are no longer limited to pizza, Chinese food, and the same old boring food that you are used to. These services allow you to order food for delivery from your favorite Italian restaurant, your favorite Steakhouse, or your favorite sandwich shop.

In a major U.S. city, these services usually charge a fee of $4-$9 dollars. The service/delivery fee may depend on the restaurant that you want to get food from and the time of the day that you want the food to be delivered. Delivery via one of these services usually takes about 1-2 hours. Typically, they take slightly longer than standard delivery from a restaurant does. So, if you use one of these services, be sure to leave plenty of time and to plan accordingly.

Overall, these services are great and allow you a great deal of freedom when it comes to your time and meals. However, there are a couple potential downsides. First, each third party service usually has a different set of restaurants that it deals with. So, not every service will be able to deliver food to you from every restaurant you want. Second, sometimes delivery can take a bit longer than usual. Because these services add another party to the mix, there is a potential delay involved. Also, depending on what city you live in, these services can be a bit on the expensive side. This is the price that you will pay for a great convenience.

A handful of these delivery services are now located in just about every major U.S. city. They can be found by searching the internet, looking in the yellow pages, or by calling directory assistance. Once you are able to locate a service that works out well for you, your dining options will never again be limited.

Great Bachelor Party Destinations - Less Frequently Visited Cities

Just about every guy loves a good bachelor party. Few things are more enjoyable than a weekend to spend with your closest male friends one last time before the bachelor gets married.

Choosing the right city for the occasion can be the difference between a good weekend and an unforgettable one. The right mix of entertainment, convenience, and cost all factor into this and should be taken into consideration when planning.

I'd like to offer up three less frequented possibilities that may spark your interest if you're planning the event now. These are great cities that don't pop up onto the radar as often, but you'll be sure to have a blast if you visit any one of them.

The first one I'll mention is Austin, Texas. This is a great destination for anyone living in the Western part of the country or the South, or even those on the East coast looking for a cheaper option than Las Vegas.

Great weather, a bustling music scene, and a lively nightlife highlight Austin, not to mention its reasonable prices in comparison to cities like Vegas.

Why not go international with a trip to Montreal? If you've never been there, you'll undoubtedly be impressed with the city, which has undertones of Paris and other European metropolises.

Just about everyone who visits Montreal enjoys it and a visit there could serve as a nice change of pace in the world of bachelor parties.

Lastly, Nashville has a lot more going on than most people realize. With incredible restaurants, a lively bar scene, and a lot more to do, the country music capital of the world may be worth a visit if you're looking to do something different.

Try any one of these cities if you're in need of bachelor party ideas. I have a feeling you'll like the unique things that each one of these destinations offers.

Top South Beach Miami Club Party Locations

If you are looking for a location to party in South Beach Miami, you will have no shortage of options. Miami is known the world over as being one of the best cities in the US for partying, South Beach is where the trendiest clubs are found. If you want to dance, drink, and party all night, you will not be disappointed. The following picks are amongst the hottest venues to hang out at, where you can mingle with some of the city's elite.

There are certain clubs that have developed a legendary reputation, Cameo is one such venue. This night club has recently been redesigned, it now attracts a young clientele from far afield. Cameo regularly receives international DJs, equipped with high-tech controllers and mixer software, and who are amongst the most well-known names in the club scene.

LIV nightclub is a popular choice for a Friday or Saturday night. Situated in the Fontainebleau Hotel, it offers clientele a huge amount of space, lavish design, and the best in entertainment all night long.

When you go clubbing, you may like to check out a number of DJs in one venue, if this sounds interesting, you should visit Mansion. This multi-level club is based in a renovated art deco theatre. It is a popular choice for models, celebrities, and musicians. The state of the ark sound decks and comfortable seating has made Mansion one of the biggest draws in the South Beach district.

If you prefer a more intimate atmosphere, how about spending a few hours partying at the Mynt Lounge. This futuristic looking lounge bar has an exclusive reputation. If you can talk your way into the venue, you will rub shoulders with some of Miami's top celebrities and rock stars. The dancing space, though compact, is never short of an energetic crowd. With cool music, interesting furnishings, and a long bar, the Mynt lounge deserves its reputation as one of the city's best venues.

Nikki beach transforms from an upmarket restaurant in the day, to a pulsating dance bar at night. Situated at the end of ocean drive, and surrounded by palm trees and sand, Nikki Beach Nightclub stands out from the crowd. The wooden decor and contemporary design help in attracting a young and rich crowd every weekend.

Set Miami was named the best dance club in the city in a survey of party-goers in 2010. This is a great location to check out the latest DJs and hit tracks. Though the dance-floor can get quite congested, there is ample room for socializing and mingling with other clientele.

These are just a selection of the best party locations in South Beach, though it is in no way an extensive list. If you are looking for more options you could always consider heading to a venue such as the Mokai, B.E.D., Florida Room at Delano, Sunset Lounge at Mondrian or the newly open TreeHouse in downtown. If you live in Miami and enjoy partying and socializing, you will not be left frustrated due to lack of clubs. The city is a clubbers paradise every night of the year.

Party Decorations and Themes

If you're artistic, making your own party decorations can be extremely fun and cost-efficient. On the other hand, if you're pressed for time, celebration supply stores and online discount celebration supply sites can be a real blessing.

To make things even easier, some celebration rental services bring all the actors, party decorations and backdrops for you, if you're willing to pay for it. After setting your budget, we can examine the various options.

First, choose a theme for your party decorations. Some possible ideas for an adult theme celebration include: luau, western, circus, safari, Hollywood, 1950s, Roaring 20s, disco, space, pirate, sports, Las Vegas, Arabian Nights, medieval times, Mardi Gras, Spanish fiesta, rock and roll or futuristic.

Kids often enjoy character and pop culture themes, like: Spiderman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Bob the Builder, Dora the Explorer, Finding Nemo, Pokemon, Harry Potter or American Idol.

If you're interested in making your own decorations for a kids party, Coolest-kid-birthday-parties is a great resource. For example, with an undersea theme, you can follow step-by-step instructions on making a Finding Nemo pinata, a shark mouth standee to take photos next to and seashell party invitations. In addition to decoration ideas for various themes, the site also has food and activity tips.

If you'd rather purchase items, Party City is a great store where you can get accent themes like: disco, rock and roll, luau, movie night, fiesta, casino and western.

If you're throwing a fiesta, you can buy decorations like: chili pepper garland ($2.29), scene setters ($5), cut-outs ($3 - $10), chili pepper lights ($10), an inflatable cactus ($5), a maraca centerpiece ($3), an inflatable sombrero cooler ($13) and a pinata ($10 - $20).

You might also want to check online at Orientaltradingpost for similar items. They have twelve assorted inflatable items for $20 in the fiesta theme and great deals on bulk celebration favors.

Tableware and partyware add a nice touch to a theme party, often functioning as additional party decorations; however, the cost of these items can be exorbitant.

Most vendors sell plates in packages of eight, which is fine for intimate gatherings, but can be a nightmare if you're having fifty plus people attending. Partysupplydirect has similar deals for partyware but more selection.

A budget-conscious solution if you're not looking to spend $100 in partyware would be to purchase solid-color plates and cutlery but buy a couple of themed serving dishes, tablecloths and straws at half the cost. Another good way to stay on budget is to split expenses with other people and delegate partyware purchases.

While it is the most expensive option, hiring Premier Casino Events to provide the celebration decorations for you could be an elaborate and all-in-one, stress-free way to throw your celebration.

If you were throwing a Halloween one, not only would the company bring fog machines, coffins, cobwebbed park benches, trick mirrors and cemetery gates, but they would also bring casino games, ghoulish actors, music and food to entertain your guests for a full four hours as well!

Looking online for party decorations is a good way to brainstorm ideas. You may choose to make a few things yourself, like a pinata, or you may purchase decorations from a store.

Try to make your purchases thoughtful and don't waste money on things you'll never use again. Delegating responsibilities to co-planners can also help you cut costs and share the excitement with friends, especially when it comes to a surprise birthday party!

Does A Bachelorette Party Have To Be Expensive?

Organizing a budget for your bachelorette party can be tough, especially if a lot of your funds have already been saved for the wedding. However, there are cheap bachelorette party ideas, so you don't have to spend too much. If you are on a tight budget, then, you should plan a bachelorette party within that budget.

Do not invite too many friends. If your budget can only accommodate about 20 girls, then, just choose those very close to you. This is the first thing to do.

When choosing the venue, choose one close to home. But, you also have to consider where the other guests live. Some may have to travel from a different city. Ask invited friends if they could come even if you don't shoulder their fares. If one already lives in another country, you should ask them first if they could come. Your closest friends would want to attend.

Instead of choosing a hotel room, you can have the party at your house or at a friend's. You will not have to pay any rent, plus you will also have greater freedom, meaning you can do whatever you want. However, just make sure that the music will not be too loud so that the neighbors won't get annoyed. You and your girl friends can even have a free "sleepover" at the house.

Tell friends to have dinner first before going to the party. This way, you will not have to spend too much on food. Bachelorette parties are not banquet gatherings. A few snacks and drinks will do. If you want to serve dinner, then, you may cook at home. You can also ask a few of your friends to help with the cooking. Preparing the food by yourself is more economical compared to catering, as it will only add more to your expenses.

You can have fun with games that do not require expensive bachelorette party supplies. These parties usually feature blindfold games, naughty toys and prizes. If you have little budget for these, you can opt for simple games, like "truth or consequence", which does not require special equipment.

Gossips and movie treats are free! In case you run out of game ideas, you can always talk about what has been going on in each other's lives. This gathering is the perfect chance for you and your friends to catch up with one another, as most of you have probably become too busy to have time to meet up and talk. As for the movies, make sure you rent DVDs so that you have something to watch later.

Entertainment does not have to be expensive. You probably have a stereo system, which you could use. You can download disco music from the internet to use in your party. Then, you can just rent a disco ball to have that disco club feeling.

As for the male stripper part, there is no need to hire a group of men. Only one should do, especially if you are only inviting a few girls. If you are a conservative group of women, you may skip on this one.

Do not hesitate to ask friends to help you with the expenses. It's not necessarily embarrassing and it's not a terrible thing to do, especially if it can raise the budget to make things more fun for everyone.

Reputation of a Party City

The party city of Los Angeles

Los Angeles has acquired the reputation for being a party city. It remains to be seen whether this reputation is really deserved or whether they are getting a bad deal. In any case there is plenty of evidence that the city positively revels in the reputation that it has acquired. At the end of the day Los Angeles will be one of the cities that make it to the very top. Here are some tips for the tourists.

It is imperative that the accommodation is resolved at the first opportunity. This is an area where the accommodation is at a premium. If the visitor does not make the bookings early enough then they might end up with problems of attempting to coordinate the different elements of the program. It will be very difficult to deal with the visit if the tourist is not given the opportunity to have safe accommodation when they visit. Los Angeles is friendly but not so friendly for the people that do not have their boundaries.
The city life in Los Angeles is best enjoyed with a central location. That means that the selection of the location must look for the central places because they have been found to be very lucrative for the visitors in terms of points of interest. It does not cost much to see them when the overall benefits are taken into consideration. If the tourists decide to go to the countryside they will need to deal with the issues of transportation which must be very difficult.
It is not a good idea to visit the seedy parts of Los Angeles. There are plenty of nice places to visit apart from the seedy areas. The areas are full of criminality and there might be embarrassing situations where by the tourist is even unable to make any representations because the situation has gone out of hand. It is better to concentrate on the areas that have a fairly good reputation for security and facilities for the visitors. They have enough to keep the person interested right from the beginning. It is generally not a good idea to go for the areas that have problems.
The tourist should look for guides to give them support in the way that they handle the tour. Unless the person has an in depth knowledge of Los Angeles it is probably a good idea to listen to the people that know something about the area. That might be the difference between finding the best spots and getting lost.
The city of Los Angeles is all about fun and the visitors should not forget to have fun. You should not just do the planning for the holiday but enjoy it. There is a temptation to concentrate on just the serious issues of managing the holiday when there is a great world out there where the visitor can shine and get the very best services. That is the value of Los Angeles.

With dozens of fun and quirky characters to choose from, there's a costume for everyone. And who can say no to a lightsaber duel or a blaster shootout?

Costumes are available for almost every character in the series, from Princess Leia and Hans Solo to Chewbacca and Yoda, or even the Darth Vader himself. But if you want to be a member of the elite, a stormtrooper costume is the way to go. These soldiers of the Galactic Empire protect the Empire with special training and undying loyalty. Plus, they are easily the most universally recognized characters from the Star Wars franchise.

A stormtrooper costume can be found for adults, children and babies. An adult stormtrooper costume can cost you anywhere from $40 to over $700, depending on the quality of the armor. For children and babies, a stormtrooper costume is much cheaper, ranging from just $15 to around $50. Some options may not include the signature stormtrooper costume weapon, a blaster. If not, blasters are usually priced between $15 and $50. You can even find blasters that light up and make blaster noises.

If you are feeling crafty and have the time, it's not too hard to make a DIY stormtrooper costume. With a supply of cardboard, some duct tape, a can of white paint, a black marker and a black leotard, you can make a recognizable stormtrooper costume. Just cut the cardboard into armor shapes and paint them white. While wearing the black leotard, tape on the armor and color the tape black. The helmet takes a little more finesse. But if you can make a helmet shape out of the cardboard, you can easily paint it white and use the black marker to draw on the face elements. Other DIY options include using a motorcycle helmet, foam sheets, and white tube socks.

Don't just stop with the stormtrooper costume. Party stores across the nation carry Star Wars party supplies. Your Star Wars party supplies shopping list should include plates, napkins, balloons and banners. Also pick up some party favors like lightsabers and a death star pinata. You can even let others join in your stormtrooper club with a stormtrooper wristband, available on Amazon.com for $8.99.

To make your Star Wars party extraordinary with an added DIY touch. You can make Star Wars party supplies that your guests won't find anywhere else. With the help of an action figure and a some jello, you can suspend Hans Solo in a tasty carbonite treat. Milk and a couple drops of blue food coloring can give you Bantha milk, a favorite beverage across the galaxy. Cotton candy on a stick can be a Cloud City treat. And for a space like atmosphere, hang up black sheets and twinkle lights.

It doesn't take much more than great Star Wars party supplies and a stormtrooper costume to throw the ultimate Star Wars party to impress both fans and newbies alike. Just remember that the force is with you.

Whenever you have a Star Wars theme party, costumes are important, both for you and for your guests. Consider a Stormtrooper Costume if you can't decide for yourself. Holidays to New York - What a Party City

The most famous of all the holidays to New York is New Years Eve and the party at Times Square. This holiday is so popular that it is televised around the world, but there are other holidays that are just as fun and a little less crowded like Thanks Giving. This is when the Department Store of Macy's sponsors their annual Thanks Giving Day Parade. This is a truly American holiday and for the most part only Americans go to New York during this time to celebrate it. Many just go for the day to see the parade while others spend the night.

The list of all the holidays in New York for the year 2010 include along with the above are Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 18. In February there is Lincoln's Birthday on the 12th, Valentine's Day on the 14th, Presidents Day on the 16th, Mardi Gras on the 16th, Ash Wednesday on the 17th. In March Passover begins on the 30th.

In April there is Good Friday on the 2nd and Easter on the 4th. In May there is Cinco de Mayo on the 5th, Mother's Day on the 9th and Memorial Day on the 31st. Father's Day is the only holiday in June and is on the 20th.

For July there is Independence Day on the 4th and in August the beginning of Ramadan is on the 11th. Labor Day is September 6th. October has Columbus Day on the 11th, and Halloween on the 31st. Veterans Day is November 11 and of course Thanks Giving Day on 25th.

The month of December has Hanukkah starting on the 2nd and Christmas on the 25th.

These are the possibilities for the year 2010 for holidays to New York.

Batman is in Gotham City, and the Party is On!

Batman is a timeless classic that never loses his appeal. Batman cakes, party decorations, party favors, and party packs are easy to find in party supply stores, online, or in department stores. Invitations are easy to make. Just purchase black construction paper, cut into bat shapes, use a silver gel pen to invite the guests to "Gotham City" to help Batman and Robin fight crime!

Send invitations early, at least two weeks in advance, and send a reminder, including a map with directions to "the bat cave" specifying again the date and time to drop off and pick up guests. Enlist the aid of neighborhood babysitters, teenaged siblings, or relatives to help direct the Gotham City traffic, and the caped crusaders are certain to be victorious!

Batman Party Games and Activities

Using inexpensive 36 or 45-inch wide black fabric, such as double knit, cut out simple capes (rectangles that can be tied by the corners) with pinking shears, and have one of your helpers paint on mask outlines and/or small bats, onto the faces of the guests.

Simple games are the best for younger children's parties, and "Follow the Joker" is always a hit. Each child can have a turn at being the leader.
Put small bat stickers (bats can be cut out of black construction paper, and glued with crazy glue, if you can't find bat stickers) on the lens of inexpensive flashlights (easily found at dollar shops) so that when the room is dark, each child can send his own Gotham City bat signal!

Using a large clear or white sheet of plastic, paint a black bat in the center, and put it in the middle of the floor. Allow each guest to make an airplane out of black construction paper, then each gets several chances to fly their plane onto the bat to win a prize.

A fun and easy game is a pass the "bat-ball" relay. Guests divide up into teams of five or so. Each team is given a plastic ball, onto which you have affixed batman stickers, painted names of villains, like Joker, Penguin, and Cat Woman. The teams form a line, with the person at the head of the line holding the ball. The first player passes the ball over his head to the person standing behind him. That person passes it between his legs to the next person, continuing until the person at the beginning of the line is again holding the ball. Prizes can be given for the first team to complete the game, and all the runners up.

BATMAN PARTY FAVORS AND GOODY BAGS
Fill a Batman party favor bag with batman stickers, toy "bat-a-rangs," comic books, coloring books, and washable bat markers, and Batman fruit snacks and other related toys. Consider giving the batman balls used in the bat-ball relay as gifts for the big game winners.
Bat Menu

Poison Ivy Floats, made with ginger ale, Lemon-lime soft drink mix, and lime sherbet.
Bat Sandwiches, simple PB&J sandwiches cut out with a bat cookie cutter.
Bat Cake and ice cream.

Retirement Party Supplies That Make Great Decorations

Now that special person has decided to retire and you want to throw a party as memorable as their career. Here are some ideas on how to use retirement party supplies as great retirement decorations. The best part is these retirement party ideas can be used whether it's a small intimate gathering, or a large boisterous affair.

For a most unique retirement centerpiece, use smaller sized cakes placed in the center of each table. Use cake topper retirement party supplies such as slogans for retirement or happy retirement on top. As well as being retirement centerpieces, these decorations on the cakes will double as retirement favors for each guest at the table to bring home. Another most distinctive of retirement centerpieces is using a jelly jam, or some other, jar filled with candy favors to anchor several themed balloons. You can find individual candy favors that are wrapped with retirement wishes on them.

Again, the retirement centerpieces serve as retirement favors as guests can eat the candy or bring it home along with the balloons and jar. Of course, you can always go with a retirement centerpiece that says proclaims happy retirement wishes on it. You can also use party supplies like word confetti to sprinkle around your tables, to add to the decorating ideas. Piled high in the center of the table, these confetti supplies also make the cutest of centerpieces. You can always tie together your retirement supplies by using matching plates, cups and napkins.

Setting up your party environment with retirement decorations makes your party look good. To ensure guests have a good time, have a few party games on hand. When people RSVP on their invitations, more useful retirement supplies, ask them to write down a funny story or interesting experience that involves the retiree. The party planners can choose several and have the guests tell them at the party. Prescreening the stories like this helps to eliminate those stories that could be embarrassing or in bad taste. If you have time to prepare ahead, there are several retirement party games you can come up with.

Create a trivia game to play with the guests divided into teams. Include questions about the company itself, like who was the founder, when it was started, how it may have expanded, funny happenings over the years. And make these retirement party games relevant to the retiree by asking how many people worked there when they started, how many bosses they've had, habits people may have noticed they had and their interests. You can play how well do you know the retiree as a party game with questions that you've made up before hand. Be sure to use a lot of general questions so everyone feels they're participating, but put in some little known facts, too, to make it more interesting.

You can either make up a quick word find or find a free one online and pass them out. Whoever finds all the words (work and retiree related) fastest wins. You could even award game prizes, like a candle, can of nuts, or a gift certificate to a local restaurant. Or just let the joy of winning be its own prize. If with all the party planning you don't have time to set up a retirement party game on your own, there are some fun retirement party games you can buy, like retirement bingo or a scratch off game to see who has won the golden egg. All are guaranteed to give your guests a fun and memorable time at your retirement party.

Kids Party - Planning a Superman Birthday Party Theme

Look up in the sky! It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's a frog. Whoops, wrong superhero (that's Underdog.) The hero I had in mind was Superman. I want to talk to you about kids party planning that involves a Superman birthday party theme.

All of you mothers (and fathers) with daughters, don't hit the back button just yet. This theme isn't just for boys. My daughters love Superman. In fact, when I planned a little Superman-themed celebration for my husband (yes, you read that right, my husband) last year, they had just as much (if not more) fun than he did.

This is a fun and easy birthday theme to plan for your children. Like all kids party planning, it will involve getting a cake, coming up with games, and figuring out party favors. Currently, Party City has a lot of Superman party favors that you can pick up for a relatively cheap price.

As far as the cake (or cupcakes) goes, you can either purchase one at a local bakery or grocery store. If you are really ambitious, you can bake one yourself. Now, before you get all worked up because you don't really "bake", it's not really that bad. Baking the cake is as easy as following the directions on the box.

Decorating the cake is the hard part, but even that isn't too difficult. The great thing about planning a Superman birthday party theme is that the design of Superman's symbol (essentially an "S") is relatively easy, which makes it easy to put on cakes and cupcakes. You can get a picture of it off of the internet or from some other party favors you may be handing out.

If you are decorating the cake yourself, I wouldn't recommend trying to do anything with Superman's face or body, unless you are an exceptional artist because they are a lot harder to pull off. If you want something with Superman's body, places like Party City or Target sell action figures made to look like he is exploding from the cake.

A birthday party activity that's both a game and party favors is a pinata. For whatever reason, kids love whacking away at these cardboard shapes full of candy. For a Superman-themed party, you might be able to find a pinata at Party City, but it may just be a plain shape with Superman's symbol on it.

If you want to really impress the kids, try making the pinata yourself and design it to look like Krypton, which was Superman's home planet. At the beginning of the Superman movies, Krypton explodes. I can't think of a better way for your kids to take an active role in the movie than by having them recreate the opening scene.

You can also make the pinata to look like the spaceship that Superman was in at the beginning of the movie; he left his home planet as a baby, bound for Earth in it If there are any moms out there who are kind of lost about all of this Superman stuff, ask your husbands (how do you think I know so much about it?).

As you can see, kids party planning that involves a Superman theme is pretty easy to pull off. You can either go the route of purchasing everything at stores, or you can do things yourself (make your own cake and pinata). It doesn't really matter which way you decide to go with it, all kids (boys or girls) will have fun with a Superman-themed birthday party.

SpongeBob Party Supplies: Party Ideas That Rock!

Spongebob Squarepants has a rich history and made his appearance in 1993. Spongebob is a sponge, no rocket science needed there. He lives in a pineapple of all things, in an underwater city called Bikini Bottom or so the movie goes. Pineapples and bikini bottoms apart, Spongebob is a fast favorite among kids and some adults one might add. A Spongebob themed party for your son or daughter is a simply fantastic idea.

Invite Spongebob to join your party and it will rock! He is so full of energy and so totally way out, off the wall, call it what you will but he is still loved.

Decorations are the spice of the party so let's take a look at what we have to work with. You can get many different kinds of Spongebob party supplies like a Spongebob wall scene kit that is made of plastic and can be attached on the wall to provide a great background scene for the party room. Get a couple of pull string piñatas; this dual fun item is something kids just love. Start out by handing it up as a decoration and then let the kids loose to smash their way to the candy and other treats inside the piñatas.

Hang a Spongebob birthday banner right across your entry way or at the door to the party room. Hang wall add-ons of Spongebob and friends and make it a point to take pictures of the kids posing next to their pal. For the table you can get a Spongebob table cover and also a Spongebob center piece to join the kids when they eat. Put the center piece in your child's room after the party - it will be a reminder of a mega birthday bash.

There are always balloons and streamers that can be added to the room to enhance the party atmosphere; you can buy themed Spongebob party supplies for the crockery and cutlery. You will also need to buy your invitations and thank you notes.

With the decorating out of the way you can turn your attention to the cake, its got to be Spongebob of course! You will also have to decide on what food and drink you will serve the children and what games you can get them to play.

For party favors, pick up small beach pails and fill them up with Spongebob mementos like coloring books, fruit snacks, ocean themed toys and more. Plenty to choose from and sky's the limit or should I say budget's the limit - the whole idea is to give the children lots of fun and your child a fabulous Spongebob birthday party.

Powerpuff Girls Costume Party Characters: Blossom Buttercup and Bubbles

The Powderpuff Girls, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles, live in a city called Townsville. Accidentally created by a laboratory mix up, they were derived from sugar spice things that are nice and unknown chemical that was accidentally spilled into the serum. All having superhero powers, these three characters continually fight crime. Most children, boys and girls alike, enjoy this series due to the action packed adventures they are involved in.

When considering these three girls for Halloween costumes, it is important to take into consideration that the girls may begin to act like them... possibly trying to save the world from their evil brother. So if you are brave and feel that you are prepared, carry on.

Blossom has pinl eyes, reddish longer hair, and wears pink. She is known as the commander of the three and her character traits are mature, managerial, instructional, bossy and very detail oriented. Her most prominent power is her ability to breathe ice and has been known to also breathe fire from time to time.

Buttercup has green eyes, shorter black hair, and wears green. Her fighting style is relentless and hostile, taking on the tomboy characteristics. She is different from the other two girls in that she is so extremely mean that she is almost scary. Her super hero trait is somewhat less of a threat however. Basically, her special power allows her to roll her tongue. Yes, that's it. But it unique to her as the other two girls cannot do this.

Bubbles has blue eyes and werars blue clothes and she always wears her hair up in two ponytails. Her personality is of a much less mature nature than Blossom. She appears as a hppy go lucky girl who enjoys to relax and play. This leads her into many situations in which she is becomes portrayed as the weakest link of the three sisters. Her super strengnth is found in her ability to speak spanish.

8 Hen Night Party Ideas to Get Hitched With a Bang

Throwing an awesome hen night party is very important as it's one of those days you'll remember forever! So whether you're organizing your own party or one for your dear friend, take a look at the following hen night party ideas to help make it memorable.

1. Send out your invitations to all the girls on a cut out of a male stripper. Well either that or a cocktail glass! Something to get your girls in the mood early on and to give them all an idea of what to expect.

2. Also you really should think about creating a Facebook group. You will be able to message everybody on the list at frequent intervals and get everybody excited! Everyone will be able to see who else is attending and this typically increases attendance rates if they know that a lot of their friends will also be there.

3. You could even have a secret "real" Facebook group excluding the bride to be so that you can keep some things secret from her! It is the little surprises that make hen parties what they are so make sure you throw a few in here and there!

4. Begin your planning early on! It's not uncommon to begin planning a full six months in advance of d-day!

5. Of course, the amount of time you'll need to plan all depends on whether or not you plan on going abroad for your hen party as more and more are these days. This is another advantage of the Facebook group as you can all discuss your budgets and prospective dates etc! Popular hen party destinations include Barcelona, Benidorm or even Bournmouth!

6. If you're having your hen night in this country then consider one of the popular party cities such as Newcastle, Manchester or Leeds.

7. Perhaps you can go as a group for a fun day at the health spa? Just think about being pampered, massaged, manicured, pedicured, having facials after a nice hot tub and sauna. After you can have a lovely meal with lots of champagne. All this in a lovely countryside retreat.

8. Of course you can do the usual thing and hire out a pink limo, but the drive will be much longer and more enjoyable as well as more worth your while if you hire it from a luxury countryside health spa and take it to your party city of choice.

Berlin's nightclubs stay open for days at a time all year round, just imagine how they throw it down on New Year's Eve. Naturally, there's a massive fireworks display to enjoy as well.

6. New Orleans, U.S.A.

While crowds huddle and shiver in Times Square, the party atmosphere for which New Orleans is famous is sure to help anyone ring in the New Year in style. 5. Prague, Czech Republic

4. Edinburgh, U.K.

With the streets in the center of the city teeming with people, there is a buzz around these celebrations like no other in Europe. 1. Goa, India

With beach parties lasting long after sunrise, it's obvious why this sixties hippie haven is still a world class party destination. You may find yourself sharing a dance floor with big Bollywood stars, as the great and the good of Indian popular culture head to party in Goa to see in the New Year.

Nightclub Parties in Famous Cities

When it comes to nightclubs and nightlife, there are certain cities in the world which are in the top list. As everyone can guess, nightlife in Las Vegas is famous all over the world. People from all over the world visit the city to enjoy the pleasures of its exclusive nightclubs. Everything from erotic pole dancing to exclusive lighting, wonderful food and drinks add to the numerous luxuries offered by the sin city. Club 7 in Las Vegas tops the list of world's famous nightclubs.

Next to the American city, London, Paris and Barcelona complete with each other with numerous night clubs and pubs offering active nightlife in various parts of the cities. Though London is known for its few classic clubs, Paris and Barcelona are more famous for affordable nightclubs suitable for a visit by a common man at any time of the night. The drinks, music and dance events they organize in these clubs are more or less equivalent to the glam parties in London. Mante Carlo, Miami and NewYork also have age-old nightclubs with lavish activities.

In recent days, Chinese cities like Shangai, Hongkong and few Australian cities also take part in the competition with their exclusive nightclubs. After the IT boom, most of the conservative cities in eastern countries like India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have opened huge nightclubs and bars to entertain their frequent foreign visitors and the locals who accompany them. Visiting a nightclub for the sole purpose of finding the mate and dating is still prevalent only in US and few parts of Europe. Most of the European cities and eastern country clubs haven't adapted to that culture yet.

With the western culture influencing all the eastern countries like Japan, China and Russia, dating is becoming more and more common in many parts of the world. But the youth in these traditionalist countries still feel shy to approach a girl directly and ask her out. Girls are much more reluctant to do the same, even if they are mad at the boy, for the fear of bad girl image.

Though today's youth get to meet in frequent parties conducted in pubs and bars, they wonder how to proceed further to attract a girl or a boy. Online after party applications came as a real boon to such people. They help the youth to start a chat naturally stating they met the person in the party the previous day. Online after party applications are very famous in eastern countries than it is in western countries as it offers a good platform for them to advance in the relationship they started in nightclubs and parties.

Planning A Hockey Theme Party

In planning a hockey theme party, follow these easy steps to ensure your celebration is a huge success.

Invitations: The invitations will set the tone for the rest of the party. You don't have to choose a particular team to base your party around, though if the guest of honor is a fan of one NHL player or even an entire team, you can send invitations with that logo on them. If you'd prefer to have a more general hockey themed party, you can order many different designs on zazzle.com. The options range from a picture of hockey skates to a pink background with crossing hockey sticks. The selection includes something for everyone.

Decorations: The decorations should match the invitations you sent to your guests. Whether they include streamers and balloons in colors to match an NHL team, or generic hockey table covers and flag banners (both available online or at a Party City location), your decorations will be a hockey enthusiast's dream. Partycity.com also has puck centerpieces, table settings, and foil balloons. Also, you can tie balloons to the end of a hockey stick and put the sticks in the corner of each room.

Dessert: First decide if you will have a full meal or appetizers and desserts. Hostess King Dongs are a fun dessert to have on each table, as they look like hockey pucks. You may also want to have a cake with a hockey puck or stick theme, and you may even include a picture of the guest of honor in full hockey uniform

Hockey Favors: You can provide favors for your guests to remember your event. For younger guests, you may consider temporary tattoos or NHL pencils for them to bring to school. For guests of all ages, chocolate is a treat enjoyed by everyone. You may consider chocolate hockey skates, chocolate hockey pucks, or hockey player pops. You can tie the cellophane in ribbon that matches your decorations and hand the gifts to guests on their way out. Also, some companies offer their chocolates tied with personalized ribbons.

Neon Lights For Party Fun

You can really set the party atmosphere with a few sets of neon lights and neon lights themed party goods scattered around the party area. They work super well for Halloween, New Years, and Glow sticks parties, where it's going to be somewhat dark in the first place. Of course you can have neon lights set up at any party.

Neon lights themed party goods are such items as plates, cups and napkins that have intensely chromatic light patterns printed against a black background. The light patterns on these paper goods will glow nicely under black light too. Most paper goods with the neon lights patterns are geared towards New Years, but you can find some paper goods without any phrasing referring to a specific holiday.

Accent your neon lights pattern with a Casino night's scene setter. These scene setters are made of vinyl and can be unrolled and hung on the wall just like you would with wall paper, except the scene setters hang with sticky tack.

Add real lights to the mix to finish off your decoration. Any sort of party light will serve as a neon light. There are small magnet lights filled with LEDs that will stick to any metal and flash away merrily. You can pick up a couple dozen light sticks to hand out as party favors and the guests will go wild on the dance floor by shaking them around and trying to write stuff in the air with the glow from them. There are many kinds of light sticks to give out to guests too. You can get bracelets, necklaces, and pendants as party favors.

String lights can be hung up around the party area to create a fun neon lights effect. There are sets of shamrock shaped lights, cactus shaped lights, fiesta lights and even seventies disco lights available.

Where to Buy Bachelorette Party Supplies

When a woman gets married, she wants a beautiful white dress, bridesmaids who will treat her like a princess, and a bachelorette party that kicks major butt. And to make sure the party is truly epic, someone will need to step forward and volunteer to be the head planner. It doesn't matter if the planner is the maid of honor, the bride's mother, or the bride herself, as long as she is committed to fun and focused on some key details.

Bachelorette parties are not one-size-fits-all events. Everyone has her own idea of the best kind of fun. Will it be held in someone's house or a hall, or will there be bar hopping to the best spots in the city? Will the tone of the party be tasteful fun or outright debauchery? Will partygoers include just the bridal group and a few more friends or everyone the bride knew since junior high? Each decision brings a cascade of choices.

Before the planning progresses too far, one important question needs to be answered: Where do we get the "stuff"? Even before you decide on what kind of stuff, and how much, the where question needs a solution. Make the right choice here and many other problems and decisions melt away quickly.

Here's a quick answer: The best place to find everything you need for a great bachelorette party is from an online store. Why hoof around to shopping centers and strip malls when one internet location has everything you need? It would be nearly impossible for any one store, or even several, to stock all the bachelorette party items available online. There just wouldn't be enough shelf space.

There's also the cost factor. Although you want to throw the bride the party of her life, the budget will not be unlimited. Subtract the cost of booze and food, and you've got even less to spend. Again, the internet comes to the rescue. Prices that are lower than retail stores' mean more fun stuff for everyone at the party.

Like everything else wedding-related, bachelorette parties benefit from serious planning. As a start, consider the list of major party stuff categories that must be addressed:

Decorations
General supplies
Food-related items
Drink-related items
Clothing
Special bride items
Games & activities
Accessories

Does that seem like a lot? Those are just the categories! Each has a list of specific items that could enhance the fun. You don't need all of them, but you need enough of the right ones to make a great party.

For example, in the category of decorations, you may need banners, streamers, balloons and centerpieces. Party supplies include cups, plates, napkins and straws.

Food items (not counting the food itself) include candy, cake pans, jello molds and snack trays. To do the proper drinking, you'll need glasses, mugs, cups and shot glasses.

Bachelorette party clothing includes tank tops, T-shirts, sashes, boas, rings, hats and necklaces. If the bride herself is to stand out properly, she will need a tiara, veil, sash, and special shirts that proclaim her status.

Will there be games and activities? May we suggest inflatable male dolls, games like Pin the Macho on the Man, scavenger hunts, trivia games, and piñatas.

If you have any money left, blow it on the dozens of accessories like pens, stickers, notepads, pacifiers, noisemakers, pins, whistles, foam fingers and much more.

Every one of these products is available online. And there are choices between the types of products according to your budget and preference. For example, you may want to spice things up with some "naughty" bachelorette party choices, or keep things squeaky clean.

Great Bachelor Party Cities Off the Beaten Path

There isn't a man who doesn't love a good stag night. It just doesn't get better than going out with all of your mates on the 'stag's' last night of freedom (or last weekend) just before he is due to get married.

Being his last weekend of freedom, the perfect location for his party must be found. For any trip, it is essential to try to create the perfect balance between entertainment, cost and convenience. And don't forget that this is not just any trip, it must be the trip of a lifetime.

I have three great places that are not the usual for bachelor parties but may strike you as interesting choices. They are not the ones that you would have had suggested to you before but you will definitely have a laugh at any one of them.

Austin, Texas being the first of the three is a really nice place to visit. It's good for those that live around the Western or Southern part of the country but it's also great for those who don't have the budget for Las Vegas.

Not only does it have practical prices but also the money spent goes a long way with good weather and a pretty active nightlife and is a real alternative to Vegas.

Another city to be impressed with is Montreal. It reminds you of a busy European city and gives you the feeling of being in Paris but without the French people.

My third choice is country music capital, Nashville. This might not be a usual choice for a bachelor party but Nashville has quite a lot going on at night. There are many wonderful restaurants and bars to visit and plenty to do. If you're looking for something different then it really is worth taking a trip there.

I know they are an unusual bunch of places to consider for a bachelor party but if you're stuck for ideas then do look into the ones mentioned and you might find you have an exceptional bachelor weekend.

Regardless of what nightlife distractions one prefers, the ever evolving city that is New Delhi surpasses all expectations when it comes to having an unforgettable night out on the town.

Host a "Sex and the City" Martini Party

Welcome to the big city, Manhattan, NYC.

Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha are surely all Martini Girls. Martinis have played a big role in the TV show and movie, "Sex and the City", since the beginning. The concoction of choice always seems to return to the Cosmopolitan, which is Carrie's favorite drink.

So you're thinking of hosting a "Sex and the City" Martini party? Here you'll find everything you need to pull of an unforgettable evening of female bonding.

Decorations

When decorating for a "Sex and the City" Martini Party, remember to celebrate each of the girls' individual tastes. There should be plenty of shoes and tiny purses around, and perhaps some "I (heart) NY" stuff as well. Around your party room can be "icons" of each character, like an open laptop and lots of clothes laying around for Carrie, preppy items that only Charlotte would have (think plaid!), sexy and passionate colors for Samantha, and Miranda's area of the party room would look professional but a bit nerdy.

Food and Drink

When planning food for your "Sex and the City" Martini Party, you may want to order in Chinese food, which is a big comfort food on the show for the girls. Other food ideas include shrimp, sushi, Mexican or any other fare from one of the New York City restaurants the girls may have been bonding in during one of the episodes. Of course, the featured drink will be Cosmopolitans, but Apple-tinis should also be offered.

Dress

It's all about looking like you're partying in New York City, with short skirts, tight fitting tops and shoes to die for! Guests may choose to dress as one of the characters on the show, not only the four main characters, but also any of the recurring or significant roles that have popped up during the show.

"Look Charlotte brought party favors!"

Last but not least, the party favors. They can be joke items like tampons. This comes from the episode where Miranda finds out she's pregnant and Charlotte finds out she's not. Charlotte brings a rather large box of tampons to brunch and slams them down on the table. Carrie then says "Look, Charlotte brought party favors." Other ideas include any "I (heart) NY" stuff or Cosmopolitan mix.

First Birthday Party Supplies - Tips For Saving on Them!

When it comes to planning baby's first birthday party, costs can start to add up after you buy invitations, supplies, decorations, cake, food, and gifts. But you can save your budget if you know how to buy your first birthday party supplies at a great discount. Here is some helpful information to save you money on party supplies for baby's first birthday:

1. Try eBay - I bought my oldest son's first birthday party supplies on eBay. Sellers often list a big group of themed supplies for quite a bit less than you will pay in stores.

2. Craigslist - Another place you can find great deals. I usually see at least a few listings a week on my local Craigslist for groups of party supplies.

3. Online Party Supply Sites - There are several online websites that specialize in selling party supplies. They offer packages that include everything you need from balloons and streamers to plates, cups, and napkins. These packages can start around $20 for a package of supplies for eight guests.

4. Check Stores for Bargains - Walmart, Big Lots, and your local dollar stores are just a few places you should be able to score some great savings on party supplies.

5. Party City - Party City carries a huge selection of first birthday party supplies and decorations. If you have one near you, go to their website and sign up for their email list. They will send you coupons for $5 off a $25 purchase.

Another way you can save are to buy solid color plates, cups, and napkins instead of first birthday party supplies. Then just buy first birthday themed decorations like table clothes, banners, balloons, table centerpieces, and streamers. You will save money and everything will still look just as nice!
